Now thats what we call a POSTER !!!

While the cast was busy rehearsing for the upcoming shows of the Vagina Monologues, Matt Mckee was getting his creative juices to work on the poster for the show.
Matt Mckee must surely be a genius at his craft , no wonder he came up with something that can only be considered a Masterpiece !!! - so beautiful, so dramatic and depicting exactly what the show is all about !! Perfection to the core !!!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.I think I can almost sense what the beautiful woman is about to say . Love the expression on her face .. it emotes pain, passion, strength, anger and a strong will. Simply Brilliant !!

A night to remember - Cast Bonding Party

Sometimes you hear or see something , it touches you so deep - it remains with you forever.

When Caitlin, the lovely director of the Vagina Monologues , invited the cast for a cast bonding party , little did they know that they would be forever be bonded with a cause. A cause so strong, that it would move even the toughest of the hearts. The cause for fighting violence against women !

The entire cast huddled together in a cosy room , expecting to watch a documentary about V Day. The documentary made it evident that there is still a lot of silence about the violence against women. There were cheers and some tears. It made everyone in the room realize that it is an honor to be a part of this movement. How can one not feel empowered after watching this ? Makes every women realize that they are INVINCIBLE !!

The Cast Bonding Party was not only about the "good tension" ( as Caitlin  put it ) , but was also about celebrations. Celebrating the fact that you shall be a part of this wonderful production, the fact that you shall be working with such talented women and the biggest one - that you are going to make some friends for life !Food and wine were free flowing and there was an abundance of deserts. Not even the most health conscious ones could escape the inviting and the decadent cakes and cookies and brownies and eclairs and .. and... slurp slurp slurp !!!

The cast bonding night was beautiful, fun and memorable. It was a great kick start to the memorable show that is going to happen soon in April. The documentary is definitely a must watch for everyone - irrespective of gender. Ending gender-based violence is a must for the betterment of the society.
